What should I expect?
Once the customer contacts us, we will discuss the job and the customer's expectations. After the scope of the job is agreed upon, we will schedule a date and time to complete the project. Some jobs may require additional prep work and clean up, which may be optional for us, or the customer may opt to do it themselves at a cost savings. Depending on the project, there are several different levels of surface prep that customers will choose from. These include White Metal, Near White Metal, Commercial, and Brush-Off.
We will arrive at the job site, set up containment, if necessary, and conduct the agreed-upon work. The customer does not need to be available but may choose to watch the process to verify their expectations have been met. For jobs that involve stripping down to bare metal, we will apply a rust inhibitor. This will protect the metal from flash rust for up to 72 hours. It is recommended that the customer have the project primed and/or painted within that window to ensure flash rusting does not occur.
Once the job has been completed to the customer's satisfaction, we will clean up, unless the customer has chosen to do so themselves.
